COURSE PROGRAM: Theory and Practice

PREPARATION
The course covers the necessary preparation required for successful makeup application, this includes setting up a working station, planning, and maintaining hygiene and cleanliness standards.
This also includes personal hygiene and appearance, as well as tools and sterilization protocols.

This also includes personal hygiene and appearance, as well as tools and sterilization protocols.

TOOLS AND STERILIZATION
Definition of the tools and their uses
Sterilization of the tools after use
Use and maintenance of tools respecting healthy rules

RECEPTION
The course will teach the appropriate reception manners and client preparation necessary for establishing a relationship of mutual trust between the client and the makeup artist. Additionally, the course will cover the identification and recognition of the nine different personalities of women.

MAKE-UP IS A VISUAL TRICK
This aspect of the course will explore the art of makeup application as a visual trick, emphasizing the importance of understanding face shape and facial characteristics to create a desired look.

THE COLOR
The color theory (degree and intensity)

EYEBROWS TECHNIQUE
This course will focus specifically on the techniques and products used for eyebrow shaping and design, including eyebrow products such as creamy, aqua, compact, gel, and tint, as well as correct eyebrow filling, redrawing, and combing.

SKIN PREPARATION
Proper skin preparation is crucial to achieving a flawless makeup look. This aspect of the course will cover the different types of skin corrections required for makeup application, selecting the appropriate skin cream, and the application of powder and blusher.

EYES MAKEUP
This course will explore the various techniques used for eye makeup, including creating eyeliner shapes based on the form of the face, lengthening the eyes, creating a double liner look, and applying light-dark shadows to the eyelids.

SOFT MAKE-UP GLAM
Soft makeup glam refers to the application of makeup that creates a more natural, understated look. This aspect of the course will cover the application of artificial eyelashes and how to correct the eyes’ shape through their use.

MAKE-UP TO CHANGE THE EYE SHAPE
This course will explore different techniques for altering the appearance of the eyes, including creating makeup looks for small and big puffy eyes, and daily makeup application.

BLUSH:
The course will teach techniques for applying blush, including creamy and powder techniques, blush shapes, and trendy/sun-kissed makeup looks.

LIPS MAKEUP
This course will cover the preparation of lips for makeup application, including lips contouring, color choice, and techniques for drawing lipstick on small and big lips.

ERRORS THAT MUST BE AVOIDED
This section of the course will cover common mistakes and errors that must be avoided during makeup application.

NOTE
KÕMASK makeup products will be provided for practice during classes.

CERTIFICATION
At the end of the course, the participant will be granted a professional Diploma Makeup Artist certificate attested by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA). As well as KÕMASK 4D Professional Make-up Certificates from the USA.
